At the Beijing 2022 Winter Games, anti-Covid-19 measures are being taken extremely seriously. Inside Olympic venues, bartenders, waiters and hotel staff wear full personal protective equipment (PPE) when serving guests, while corridors are also frequently disinfected.
Thousands of international athletes, officials and journalists arriving at venues in Beijing and Zhangjiakou, in neighbouring Hebei province, are also being separated from the public under a “closed loop” bubble.
